Here at the Department of Theology & Religious Studies, we offer you the chance to explore the role of religion in the world today through a wide selection of exciting and engaging academic specialisms. 
 

Our versatile Religion MA  gives our taught postgraduate students the option to tailor-make their own degree, or specialise in any of the following subject areas: Biblical Studies; Jewish Studies; Religion in Contemporary Society; and Systematic Theology. Attracting students from around the globe, the MA in Religion offers an outstanding range of teaching from internationally leading scholars, with the option to follow one of four pathways of study or to forge your own path. With this degree you can specialise in Biblical Studies, Jewish Studies, Religion in Contemporary Society or Systematic Theology or you can tailor make your own degree based on your own interests. We specialise in Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism.

Modern Language Centre courses

As well as offering all King's students a discount on Evening & Saturday Language Courses, the Modern Language Centre supports the studies of our postgraduate students by offering credit-bearing modules and non credit-bearing modules (PG-only) free of charge.

Learning a language as a postgraduate student will encourage you to develop the ways in which you learn and retain information. The MLC's postgraduate-only courses focus on reading and speaking skills and revolve around the student's own research.
