Please note:

  1. Advisors will take as many calls as they can during the above opening hours.  Consequently you may be put in a queue.

  2. Please note that we cannot receive calls after the line has closed. Unfortunately this means that during peak periods, you may not get through to an advisor depending on how busy the line is, and may be cut off when the line closes, even if you have been on hold. We regret that this is not satisfactory and are looking at ways to change our service to reduce the likelihood of this happening. If you were not able to speak to an advisor on the day, we sincerely apologise. We would advise you to email advice@kcl.ac.uk to explain your query, or call the line again on the next available day.

  3. If you need a telephone appointment because you are unable to call the Student Advice line during our operational times, please use our online enquiry form, providing as much detail as possible about your case, and confirm your availability for an appointment, should this be necessary to resolve your query.

  4. Appointments are only offered where required to resolve a complex case, and you may have to wait a few weeks during peak periods. Consequently you are encouraged to call the Advice Line or attend a campus drop-in, if you need to speak to someone urgently.  If you are hoping to have a general discussion about your study at King's you are advised to use Student Services Online in the first instance.

  5. Please be aware that all calls are subject to the Student Services Privacy Notice and your details will be recorded for case management, training and monitoring purposes.  If you wish to receive advice anonymously, please inform the advisor but be aware that our advice will be limited if we are unable to identify you and verify your studies at King’s.  We are also unable to confirm a student’s status to third parties without prior written consent.
