At London Demo Day, entrepreneurs from the King's20 Accelerator, UCL’s entrepreneurship hub BaseKX and Imperial Enterprise Lab will present their innovative startups to a group of international angels and investors.

Startups will pitch to leading investors, partners and alumni, drawn from the collective communities of UCL, Imperial College London and King's College London.

Our keynote speaker will be UCL alumnus David Abrahamovitch, co-founder and CEO of Grind hospitality chain. Since opening their first café-bar in Shoreditch in 2011, Grind has grown to become a cult coffee brand with locations across London.

What to expect

During the event, you'll hear pitches covering a diverse range of industries including healthcare technologies and social impact businesses.

After the pitches, founders and investors will be able to meet in small groups in an expo lounge.

One-minute pre-recorded videos by each of the startups will also be available to watch before, during and after the event.

Showcasing the best and brightest

While the pandemic has changed the world as we know it, all three universities have committed to showcasing the best and brightest of London’s entrepreneurial talent over the past year.

Uniquely, the 2021 Demo Day startups will demonstrate the resilience it takes to survive one of the most challenging years in startup history.
