After graduating in 2016, Louise remained at King's to undertake a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Michael Curtis. Her PhD research focussed on the development of a novel ischaemia-activated antiarrhythmic prodrug for the treatment of lethal ventricular arrhythmias associated with the fatality of heart attacks.
