Project Title: Effects of political ideology on consumer behaviour

Year of Entry: 2017, full-time

Victoria started her academic career at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013. Afterwards, was awarded a full scholarship to pursue her MA at New York University, where she obtained the best academic achievement award (2015). During her time in NYU she worked at the Amodio Social Neuroscience Lab and presided the Social and Consumer Psychological Association.

After graduating, Victoria worked as a strategic planner at MullenLowe (advertising), where she became part of the Latam Planning Council and participated as a jury in the Effie Awards Latin America. At the same time, she started working at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, as a lecturer at the Business School, a position she still holds today.

In 2017, Victoria started her PhD program at King’s College London and is currently working on her research project conjointly with her supervisors. She is analysing how consumer behaviours and preferences can be affected by political ideology identification.
