King's is committed to embedding good equality and diversity practice into all of its activities so that the College becomes a richer and more diverse place to work and study.
The Equalities Unit
King's has a dedicated Equalities Unit that covers both staff and student issues. Our main responsibilities include:

advising on best practice in equalities - in particular ensuring the College is meeting is obligations under the Equality Act 2010

developing College strategy, policy and actions in relation to equalities

providing support and guidance on cases of bullying, harassment and discrimination

maintaining the College's staff networks and faciliating two-way communication to inform policy

delivering equality and diversity training for staff and students

initiating positive action initiatives such as mentoring schemes

faciliating progress with external charter marks such as Athena SWAN
The College also has a dedicated
Disability Advisory Service that provides information and support to staff and students with disabilities.
