Eleições Municipais no Brasil: Pontos e contrapontos (Municipal Elections in Brazil)

On the 15 of November 2020 Brazilians will be casting their vote in municipal elections, choosing mayors and municipal council members for its 5568 municipalities. These elections will play an important role in the definition of the political life of the country.

Hosted by the King’s Brazil Institute and the Brazilian Studies Programme at the University of Oxford, in this debate scholars will be discussing the main trends of these elections and the impact they can have on a national level.
