New cutting-edge Master's in Statistics launches at King's College London
The new course kicks off in September 2023 for postgraduate students with strong mathematical research backgrounds.
A brand-new Master of Science (MSc) degree in Statistics has been launched by the Department of Mathematics at King's College London. The course aims to equip postgraduate students of Maths with cutting-edge statistical modelling skills in a range of practical settings.
The MSc will cover a wide range of topics including statistical modelling, data analysis, and machine learning. Students will work on real-world problems, gaining valuable experience to prepare them for future careers in statistics. They will also acquire a strong foundation in statistical theory and its applications in various fields, such as healthcare, finance, and social sciences.
During the course students will have access to a range of resources, including dedicated computer labs, online materials, and a library of statistical software packages.
