Standing Conference on Academic Practice (SCAP)
SCAP participants cohere around a concern for academic work in higher education, taking an holistic view of academic role and exploring it from an academic perspective. SCAP participants are active in development and research roles in higher education. Discussions focus on both policy and practice and on their interconnections.
SCAP is convened by Professor Paul Blackmore (King’s College London) and Dr Stan Taylor (University of Durham). A Planning Group devises and reviews the conference each year.
If you are interested in coming to a SCAP event, please get in touch with Lauren Cracknell, SCAP administrator, or contact a member of the Planning Group.
The 17th SCAP will take place on the 4th - 5th July 2013, to register for the event please contact Lauren Cracknell: lauren.cracknell@kcl.ac.uk
