Tube SignIf you are travelling by car familiarise yourself with the various travel restrictions within central London - Congestion Charge, Red Routes etc. before starting your journey.

When you arrive in London you may find it useful to purchase an A-Z book to help you find your way around. 

The routes listed on these pages are only suggestions and you may find better routes. The Transport for London Journey Planner is useful for planning new journeys by bus, underground or rail. Local bus maps and Underground maps can also be found on the TfL website.

Full time students in London are normally entitled to a discount on Transport for London services. Full details can be found on the Student Funding Office web pages.

A free shuttle bus service operates between hospital sites and the Waterloo Campus which students may find convenient to use. This service is provided by the Academic Health Sciences Centre.

Walking is a good way to keep fit and helps you find your way around. To plan a route to walk around London see the 'Getting around' link to Walkit.
