Finance your studies
Many students take up paid work during vacation periods and/or work part-time during the academic year. King’s Careers Service advertises vacancies via their online jobs database JobOnline, and provides support throughout the job hunting process from CV writing to interview technique.
A wide range of work is available in the students’ union. Other departments of the College also offer work opportunities, such as the Information Services Centres & Libraries, Examinations Office and Marketing department.
The Student Ambassador Scheme is run by the Marketing Department and aims to provide current students with great opportunities to get involved with College recruitment events on and off campus. Ambassadors are offered a variety of training sessions which will enhance their CV, personal skills and experience. They are also paid a fair rate for work undertaken. All we ask is for them to provide a professional, courteous and reliable service in return!
International students should check information from our Student advice and International support team on working during and after your studies.
