Description
Going Digital

This project communicates the possibilities of digital communication for both clinicians and young people with long term health conditions in accessing healthcare. The LYNC study (co-lead by Professor Jackie Sturt, from the Department of Adult Nursing) have collaborated with Face Front Inclusive Theatre to create a unique online theatre performance, to address the possibilities of digital communication about clinical matters such as symptoms, drug regimes, and emotional distress.

The film and interactive sessions aim to:

  • Encourage clinicians to engage with the emotional stories of the young people they work in order to provide more aware treatment, and train them in how to use digital resources in health care.
  • Encourage young people with long term health conditions to understand the importance of maintaining their health care with the use of access to digital communication channels supported by their NHS clinical team.

To take part please register on Eventbrite.
