I have three favourite things about studying Classics at King's. 1. There are no compulsory modules so you have complete freedom to specialise in what truly interests you. 2. Learning in London is incredible, especially the proximity to amazing museums to see what you are studying in real life. 3. The range of modules.

A year after graduating with a Modern Literature and Culture MA from King’s, I began working as a Junior Reporter for a renewable energy publication. Being able to write clearly and concisely in the way I was taught during my MA has helped me every day when writing articles.

Studying philosophy at King’s has allowed me to not only learn about famous ancient scholars like Plato, but has also taught me how to apply their thoughts to modern day situations.

One of the best things about the Music BMus is how much it allows you to interact with the faculty. Whether it is through individual instrumental teaching at the Royal Academy, through 1-on-1 tutorials or through weekly seminars and office hours, the opportunities to learn from leading experts in the field are endless.

The level of dedication of King’s is unparalleled. Teachers have been supportive and interesting. They encourage lively discussion, entertain your views and guide you in the right direction to pursue further research.

CMCI is so unique in its offering of cultural studies, media studies, and creative industries all in one! In breadth and depth, we could go from analysing queer representation in films, to exploring the business models of large media conglomerates, to discussing arts management.

I love that I learn from the leaders in Shakespeare and Early Modern studies because it means I’m always challenged to engage with cutting-edge research in my field.
