The KCL Frost Research Department at St Thomas’ Hospital, led by Professor Sheng Lim, is one of the largest ophthalmic research units in the UK in terms of patient recruitment. The Department has the only human aqueous dynamic research set-up in the UK, and is the global leader in this area of research. The department is fully equipped with all the latest research tools and is supported by a team of administrative and technical staff to ensure efficient running of trials. The Department has been involved in many large, multicentre, international randomised controlled trials, in particular, many landmarked glaucoma studies.
