Responding to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

King’s is a purpose-driven university dedicated to finding solutions to urgent global challenges

We strive to deliver research, education and service to society that responds to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), supporting the worldwide effort to build a better future for our people and planet.

The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – designed to address the world's most critical global challenges.

They recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality and drive economic growth, while simultaneously tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

Learn about how King’s research, teaching and service activity supports and aligns to the UN SDGs.
