Future Advantage Workshops
Our Future Advantage Workshops cover your entire career journey from exploring potential careers to working on CVs and succeeding at interviews. Some of these workshops are available in digital interactive format on our KEATS pages.
Employers also come to King’s to share their insights into what they are looking for in the students and graduates who will become their future employees. Find out about specific skillsets, learn how to best present your employability to particular sectors or discover what it’s really like to do a certain job.

Panel Events: Discover Careers in...
Our Discover Careers in... panel events feature speakers working in certain industries and sectors who tell you what it is like to do their job, what you need to get into it and how they got there.
They will share their own career stories, tips and information on their sector and this is followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Listen to their stories to discover what it’s really like and bring your own questions to help refine your focus.

- In your faculty or department
Specialised Careers Consultants who know all about your degree and your possible future career choices deliver workshops in most academic departments. They include everything from the career options available for students with your degree to how to prepare for entry into specific careers. We also run a programme tailored for postgraduate research students.
- Starting up on your own
We run sessions for those interested in self-employment and support the King’s Entrepreneurship Institute in their development of future entrepreneurs. Find out more about their programme at the Entrepreneurship Institute webpages.
