Explore our programme of workshops, lounges and sessions to help you Build Success and gain employability skills and the King's Skills for the Future, where you can self-assess your own existing skills and strengths.


 

Alongside our employer events we run many activities across the year designed to educate you on the labour market, build your commercial awareness, reflect on your skills and enhance your understanding of different options available to you.

These workshops span your entire career journey from exploring potential careers to working on CVs and succeeding at interviews.

Alongside in person and virtual delivery, they are also available as recordings on our KEATS pages.

Delivered by our specialist Employer Relations & Development Advisers, these virtual workshops are part of each Focused Festival providing you with an in-depth look at the graduate labour market within a particular set of industries.

These are run by Careers Consultants, often with the support of academics, student ambassadors and societies and take place throughout the academic year.

They include everything from what career options are available for students from your degree to how to prepare for entry into specific careers.

Our dedicated Research Talent Careers Education team run a suite of events supporting researchers at King’s.

    King's Skills for the Future

    King's Skills for the Future is a self-assessment tool and set of learning pathways located on King's CareerConnect. It is designed to help you evaluate, develop and expand your existing skill set. Using the existing King’s framework for identifying employability assets (KASE), the tool is focused on 36 high-value skills that are particularly important for your employability.
