MPhil/PhD in Education Research
The Centre for Research in Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (CRESTEM) welcomes high quality research applications in all its areas of research expertise which relate to our three core themes
- Aspirations, attitudes and participation
- Curriculum, pedagogy and assessment
- Learning in formal and informal contexts
If you are interested in doing an MPhil/PhD with us, take a look at our three core themes and the research interests of CRESTEM academic staff to find out who works in the area that you’re interested in.
If you already know which member of academic staff you'd like as your MPhil/PhD supervisor, you can contact them before applying. If it's confirmed that they can supervise you, please note this down when you fill in the application form.
If you’re not clear which member of staff you might want as a supervisor, fill in a form but leave the name of the supervisor blank. A decision will be made on potential matches when your submitted form is reviewed by the director of CRESTEM.
The Rosalind Driver Studentship Fund offers funding to support full and part-time PhD studentships in the field of science education.
