Join the 2018/19 Monteverdi Apprentices and members of the Monteverdi Choir for a showcase recital in the Chapel of King’s College London.

A masterpiece of Victorian architecture, nestled between the Strand and Victoria Embankment, the Chapel’s sonorous acoustic and opulent decoration will provide a stunning backdrop to a programme of choral works, curated and directed by Sir John Eliot Gardiner. An essential conclusion to the Apprentices’ time embedded amongst the Monteverdi ensembles, this recital gives Apprentices the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities as a free-standing vocal consort, consolidates the musical, technical and stylistic developments that have defined their Apprentice year and – perhaps most importantly – enables a wider audience to see them at work under the baton of one of the world’s greatest living conductors.

Programme to include works by Bach, Grainger, Fauré, and many more.
