In connection with Africa Week celebration, the African Leadership Centre and the Faculty of Laws and Political Science are organising a painting and ceramics competition on the topic 'A More Integrated Africa'. Interested students were invited to submit their paintings or ceramic art works to the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Buea.
The paintings and ceramic arts works will be judged by a jury designated by the Vice Dean for Research and Cooperation. Winners of the competition will receive a cash prize from the African Leadership Centre.
In this event, we will present the works of Art of the Competing Students and announce the Winners. The event will start with a welcome by The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Buea and The Director of the African Leadership Centre, followed by an introduction to and background and purpose of the day by the Vice Dean Research and Cooperation FLPS.
All the art works will be installed in front of the Asti Conference Room on and presented to the jury and public to raise awareness among students about the importance of Integration for the prosperity of Cameroon and other Africa states.
