Drawn from the collections of the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives, documents, photo albums, maps and other items relating to the British presence in Africa from the end of the 19th century to the mid-late 20th century, will be presented and available for visitors to browse, discuss and engage with the array of material.

An introduction by Cathy Williams and Kate O'Brien will be given contextualising the material during the period, and British presence in Africa.

This event is part of the African Leadership Centre's - Africa Week 2023 celebrations - taking place 6-10 March 2023.
