King's Volunteering partner, Action Tutoring, are looking for volunteers to support pupils from low-income backgrounds in English or maths. Education in this country isn’t fair. If you are from a poorer socio-economic background, you’re less likely to pass your SATs or GCSEs, limiting future opportunities.

By volunteering for just one hour a week, you will support children to build their confidence and help ensure they leave school with the grades needed to build a bright future, as well as developing your own skills.

If you’re interested in helping, but want to learn a bit more about volunteering with Action Tutoring first, this event is for you!

The information session will run for 30 minutes. The first 15 minutes will be a presentation about why Action Tutoring exists and what volunteering with them entails. In the second 15 minutes, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions. You will also get to hear from a current volunteer!

To join the information session, please register on Eventbrite.

Students and staff at King's can apply to join Action Tutoring as a Volunteer Maths or English tutor at King's Volunteering online.
