AI learns to play a video game - 27 May 2023

Please note that this event has passed.

Watch an AI master a variety of old Atari 2600 games and learn about the state-of-the-art techniques used to help AIs learn. You will be able to observe AI agents at different intervals during training. Can you work out what’s going wrong? Or what’s going right? How do you think you could help the AI? We would love to hear your ideas!

This event is in-person. Registration is not required.

The demonstration is being run by Alexander Philipp Rader, PhD student on the UKRI CDT in Safe and Trusted AI.

This event is part of the King's Festival of Artificial Intelligence, running from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 May 2023, which brings together speakers, exhibits, demos and screenings in an exciting programme of events. Take a look at the other events here.

This demo will also happen on Wednesday 14 June.
