Speaker: Dr Luigi Margiotta-Casaluci

Affiliation: Institute of Environment, Health and Societies; Brunel University London

Description: Low concentrations of psychoactive drugs are often detected in the aquatic environment. These compounds may cause behavioural alterations in wildlife as they do in humans. In this seminar, Dr Margiotta-Casaluci will present his latest research on the effects of these drugs on fish behaviour and discuss the challenges of translating the results of behavioural studies from the lab to the field.
