Are you interested in ideating ground-breaking solutions to current problems, but unsure of where to start? Do you struggle with finding community at university? Or perhaps you want to gain career-oriented skills to land work experience down the line?

Well, look no further! Join our inaugural flagship hackathon, ‘The Runway to a Better Tomorrow’, hosted by BE At King’s, to experience innovating as a team. This event is aimed at first year undergraduates from any degree who have never participated in a hackathon before.

Free lunch and snacks will be provided for all participants. Benefit from exclusive skill-building workshops by industry professionals, and the chance to win prizes up to £150!

For the 2-day event you'll be working in groups to answer the question: 'What solutions could reduce the environmental footprint of fast fashion to encourage sustainable consumption patterns?

What to expect on the day:

You must attend both days. 

Session one: 17 February 10:00 - 17:00

Session two: 18 February 10:30 - 18:00.
