The Bank of England Watchers’ conference is an annual event which seeks to bring together the diverse community of people who have an interest the work of the Bank of England – and central banking more broadly. Our attendees include prominent policymakers at the BoE, plus economists and Bank watchers from roles in academia, think tanks, financial markets, politics, and the media.
The Bank of England Watchers’ conference was initiated in 2022 by David Aikman (KCL), Richard Barwell (BNP Paribas), and Paul Mizen (Money Macro and Finance Society). It was supported financially by the Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance at King’s College London, and received organisation support from King’s Business School. The Money Macro and Finance Society is a charity that exists to promote and disseminate research in the fields of monetary economics, macroeconomics and financial economics, primarily in the UK.
We're delighted that the 2025 event was sponsored by PGIM.
