Why we should get behind grass roots activity
As part of the Be At King’s programme, we invite you to join us for an in conversation session with two social entrepreneurs.
Dr Nicola Byrom, founder of Student Mind’s and King’s own Senior Lecturer in Psychology will be interviewing Sara Fernandez, former CEO of Student Hubs and Oxford Hub and current CEO of Now Foster.
For over a decade Sara worked with Student Hubs and Oxford Hubs to support students to develop their ideas into practical social change.
Sara will reflect on what she learnt over the years; how to spot an idea worth getting behind, where to start putting ideas into action and how to identify and bring on board supporters.
This workshop is free and open to all within the King's Community.
