As Asia continues its emergence as a new global political and economic powerhouse, it’s clear that over the next few years and beyond, strong relationships with China will help to form a better Britain, a better China, and a better world.

But how can you make the most of this burgeoning relationship and what lies in store for those who want to work, study, and live in the UK or China?

Our panel of academics, experts and alumni will discuss the increasing importance of the Sino-British relationship and what role the academic community can play in boosting business, education, and cultural connections.

The panel will also be looking at how students play a part in developing this relationship from a university level and the benefits of UK students finding their place in China and Chinese students finding their place in the UK.

This will be a collaborative event between the School of Politics and Economics and the Lau China Institute. So please join for what will be a very interesting discussion on different perspectives.
