We are pleased to announce that the 31st Annual Meeting of the British and Irish Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (BICISMRM) will be held at King’s College London, in the heart of London, at Bush House on 3-4 September 2026.

The theme of this year’s meeting, “Community”, reflects our commitment to bringing together students, researchers, radiographers, clinicians, and industry, from across the UK and Ireland, to share the latest developments in magnetic resonance in biomedicine, to foster collaboration, and strengthen networks.

The meeting is preceded by two workshops:

Open Recon Workshop on 1 September 2026

A hands-on workshop organised by one of our gold-level sponsors, Siemens Healthineers, will guide participants through practical steps in open MR reconstruction workflows that will culminate in a live scanning session applying the results of the workshop. Note, the workshop venue is London Institute for Healthcare Engineering

Educational workshop on Quantitative Magnetic Resonance – from Fundamentals to Applications on 2 September 2026

A focused workshop introducing quantitative magnetic resonance, covering core principles, current knowledge gaps, and a biomedical application perspective. This workshop will be the same as for the main building, Bush House.
