During this seminar, we introduce a game-theoretic model for onchain auctions on Ethereum and use simulations to study builders’ bidding strategies. Our results demonstrate the importance of latency on the effectiveness of each strategy. We notice the effectiveness of certain strategies is intricately linked to builders’ strategic decisions and auction designs.
