Professor Greg Garrett is Carole McDaniel Hanks Professor of Literature and Culture, Baylor University

Anthony & Greg will be having a free ranging conversation in the Chaplaincy for Black History Month. Anthony is the leading Black theologian in the UK and has written extensively on black theology and culture and most recently on James Cone. Greg has written extensively on culture most recently exploring Hollywood and Race - his latest book The Gospel according to James Baldwin asks what America’s Great Prophet Can Teach Us about Life, Love, and Identity.

All are welcome to join this conversation with these wise and thought-provoking academics.

Note: Prof Anthony Reddie will also be preaching at our service for Black History Month in the College Chapel at 1.10pm on the 16th October, followed by lunch in the Chaplaincy.
