  • Gain realistic insights into the responsibilities, challenges and rewards of being a trustee
  • Learn how charity boards work and what skills and perspectives they look for
  • Discover how the Aspiring Trustees Programme can support your development
  • Take part in a Q&A with speakers and connect with colleagues interested in trusteeship
  • Receive guidance on next steps if you’re considering joining a charity board

About the Aspiring Trustees Programme

The session will include an introduction to the Aspiring Trustees Programme (formerly the Charity Board Leadership Programme), led by Leon Ward. Open to 20 staff members, this online course provides a practical and accessible introduction to charity trusteeship and helps build the confidence, knowledge and insight needed to serve effectively on a board.
