As we grow more reliant on AI systems for an increasing variety of applications in our lives, the need to understand such systems also becomes more a necessity, be it for improvement, trust, or legal liability.
Jade is an artificial intelligence trying to find its friend. However, it is unsure how to find him in photos, and it will need your help to learn how to do it.
"Can you help me?" is an interactive experience, in which the visitor can chat with Jade and learn more about how neural networks work, the problems with overfitting, bias and how these problems impact fairness in today's systems.
The demonstration is being run by Nathan Schneider Gavenski, PhD student on the UKRI CDT in Safe and Trusted AI.
