Co-hosted with the Royal Society for Literature, our high-profile annual Careers in Literature event draws crowds of hundreds to hear from a panel of professionals about the highlights and challenges of making a career in the world of literature.

We have assembled a panel of professionals whose careers span literary landscapes including Live Literature, Publishing, Outreach and Literary Journalism. During this Zoom webinar, each panellist will speak about their work, followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions to people who have been there and done it.

Panellists will include book critic and editor Sana Goyal, literary curator and programmer Elliott Jack, spoken word poet and workshop facilitator Leah Thorn, and commercial children’s book publisher Aimée Felone.

Chaired by Edmund Gordon, writer, critic, RSL Fellow and Reader in Creative and Critical Writing at King’s College London.

This is a public online event.
