Francisco Ortega is Professor at the Institute for Social Medicine of the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He is one of the founders and director of Research of the ‘Rio Center for Global Health’. Since November 2018 he is also Visiting Professor at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine of King's College, London.
