Chaplaincy Weekend Away - Surrey Countryside

Come and enjoy a weekend in the Surrey countryside at the Wychcroft Resource & Retreat Centre with the Chaplaincy, and get to know other members of the King's community - Wychcroft is a beautiful house with comfortable bedrooms and great food, run by the Church of England's Diocese of Southwark as a place for groups to spend time together.

Activities include (all optional):

  • muddy walks
  • visiting a local church
  • crafting
  • mindfulness
  • social quiz
  • Christian prayer

All members of King's staff and students, of all beliefs and backgrounds, are welcome. We will all travel together by train from London to Redhill (you will need to buy your own train tickets, but we will cover the cost of taxis from Redhill station to Wychcroft). Details of timings will be confirmed nearer the time.

  • Students: £80
  • Staff: £110
  • Partners (not members of KCL): £130
  • Under 16s: free

To book:

  • please complete the e-store form to pay a deposit of at least £40 in advance, with the balance to be paid as soon as you are able to do so before the weekend away
  • email chaplaincy@kcl.ac.uk to let us know that you wish to secure a place

If you have any problems with affording payment but would like to join us, do please be in touch, as a limited number of bursaries (reduced costs) may be available.
