Over the last 5 years ClientEarth's Climate Finance Initiative has pioneered a unique legal advocacy strategy aimed at driving corporate decision-makers to address climate change-related risks and opportunities in their business and investment models. Through a combination of strategically targeted research, policy development, regulatory engagement, and litigation the Initiative aims to ensure that actors across the financial sector better manage and disclose risks from climate change – and to hold them accountable where they fail to do so.

In this Armchair Session, ClientEarth lawyer Daniel Wiseman, will discuss some of ClientEarth’s recent interventions on corporate reporting and the UK pensions sector and share thoughts on key developments and speed bumps as the shift towards climate-aligned finance picks up pace.
