Octet of voices from the Celaya Conservatory

Comprised of eight distinguished singers, the Vocal Octet offers a musical journey through various eras and regions of Mexico, showcasing its rich cultural heritage from the north to the south. The repertoire features profound songs alongside more spirited pieces, creating a balanced and vibrant program.

Our Distinguished Singers

Minerva Elizarrarás - She has performed roles such as Musetta in La Bohème and has been awarded the Gilda Morelli Prize in the Carlo Morelli National Singing Competition in Mexico.

Indira Rodríguez - With a Bachelor's degree in Singing and currently a student of Choral Conducting, she has performed as a soloist with orchestras, including in Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

Lía Esparza - She has been singing since the age of 10 and has performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including roles such as Mimi in La Bohème.

Lau Juco - She has performed as a soloist with the Silvestre Revueltas Youth Symphony Orchestra and has made multiple appearances with the Youth Choir of the Conservatory of Celaya.

Fernando Alonzo - He has performed as a soloist with various symphony orchestras and has taken on roles such as Rodolfo in La Bohème and the Goose in Carmina Burana.

Brandon Rufino - He has performed as a soloist in works such as Mozart's Requiem and other pieces with orchestra and symphonic band.

Carlos Alfaro - He has performed as a soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony and has taken on solo roles such as Hidalgo in the opera Tresguerras.

Antonio García-Aguilar - Director of the Vocal Octet, assistant conductor of the Silvestre Revueltas Youth Symphony Orchestra, director of the Silvestre Revueltas Camerata, and soloist in various baritone roles.
