Does climate-change create conflict or is it the other way round? With CoP26 fast approaching the stakes over climate change and security have never been higher; in how can we understand climate change’s relationship with conflict and just as importantly while the attribution of responsibility for climate change both historically and currently as well as in the future might seem politically sensible, it could also create significant political tension and lead to conflict, including armed intervention in the name of climate change into a sovereign state.
