About the speaker
David Lin began his investment career with China Development Industrial Bank where he was in charge of US based technology investment activities, before he cofounded Whitesun Equity Partners in 2006, focusing on the high potential consumer market in China.
He has worked extensively in the investment and finance sector within consumer service, media and technology, as well as other high value manufacturing businesses in the Pacific Rim. David was the founding Vice President of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Directors Associations (HKINED), where he advocated for better corporate governance and providing linkage to knowledge sharing across Asia.
David completed his PhD in Management at King’s College London and his Masters in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
