(Cost)-effectiveness of a supervised exercise program in patients with metastatic breast cancer: results of a multinational PREFERABLE-EFFECT randomised control trial.
Abstract
In this talk, Dr Anouk Hiensch will share both the primary and cost-effectiveness results of the PREFERABLE-EFFECT study. This multinational (NL, DE, SP, SE, PL, AUS) randomised controlled trial investigated the (cost-)effectiveness of a 9-month supervised exercise program on fatigue and quality of life in patients with metastatic breast cancer. Moreover, she will share the experiences of the participants within the study. Finally, future perspectives will be discussed and recommendations based on the results will be shared.
