Whether you're a crochet pro or a total newbie, come and join us at our crochet baby blanket workshop at KCLSU Activity Room 1 on Guy's Campus on 8 November!
Learn how to crochet granny squares to make baby blankets. Your granny squares will be collected and stitched together to make baby blankets for Little Village, a London charity supporting families experiencing poverty.
This is a really fun and relaxed activity to make a difference to those in need whilst meeting new people and learning a new skill!
If you have never crocheted before, there will be people on hand to walk you through everything. However, we have limited crochet hooks and yarn so please bring your own if you are able to (4mm crochet hooks and double knit yarn of your choice!). If you are not able to bring your own, make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment!
Little Village is a village of support and solidarity for families with children under five in London. They offer preloved kids’ clothes, baby essentials and links to key services to families in challenging circumstances such as homelessness, unemployment, low wages or domestic abuse.
