Culture Lounge: Drawing with artist Sarah Christie

In honour of wellbeing month and to fight off the January blues artist Sarah Christie will be leading a fun, free drop in drawing workshop.

Drawing is a great way to unwind, focus on the here and now, and access the creativity we all have inside. Using source imagery and a variety of materials, we will create our own motifs for developing abstract patterns and mark making. We will work with repetition, iteration and variation in colour, scale and form to overcome the blank page, filling it with our own unique and autonomous drawings and expressions. 

Everyone is welcome, and no previous drawing experience is needed to take part.

Culture Lounge:

Take part in fun, free cultural experiences in our Culture Lounge drop-in sessions every Wednesday from 12.00 – 15.00 during term time, in the Arcade at Bush House on Strand campus. 

You can bring your own art or craft project to work on or use the materials provided to get crafting in the creative atmosphere of the Culture Lounge.
