Description: Current regulatory frameworks rely on an effective risk assessment procedure to minimise chemical risk to the environment and health, but the increasingly large number of compounds developed by industry makes risk assessment a very challenging process. I will describe how we have approached this challenge utilising a multi-omics approach that computationally integrates multi-omics data to identify molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of narcotics, one of the most common modes of action.
