All are welcome as we come together to discuss Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro (book is provided). There will be opportunities to meet each week as we progress through the book together over the term (but no pressure to attend each week!)
This novel tells the story of Klara, an Artificial Friend, as she observes and learns about human emotions, relationships, and the meaning of love in a technologically advanced future.
This book has been chosen to complement the AKC lecture series for this term: ‘Rethinking Thinking: Bodies, Minds, and Machines in the Modern World.’
Open to all King's students and staff.
