Description: On Monday 8th October the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London will host a dual book launch. The event will celebrate the release of Carmen Pavel’s The Oxford Handbook of Freedom (edited with David Schmidtz), and Paul Sagar’s The Opinion of Mankind: Sociability and the Theory of the State from Hobbes to Smith (Princeton University Press).The panel discussion will be followed by a reception from 19.45, where discounted copies of both books will be available.
