This workshop explores the different ways digital tools can be used to make computing education more inclusive of learners with disabilities and special educational needs.
You can expect a lively mixture of talks, hands on activities and networking opportunities. We will explore topics such as the role of generative AI and digital tangible tools in inclusive computing education and there will also be opportunities to get hands on experience with a range of digital tangible tools such as the micro:bit, Crumbles and Code Jumper.
A sandwich lunch will be provided on arrival, and the talks and workshops will commence at 12:30.
Additionally, practising teachers will be able to claim reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses (up to £100) to support attendance of the event. Instructions on how to claim reimbursement will be provided on the day of the event.
