As part of the Sanctuary Season, the Chaplaincy will be hosting a screening of the movie LIMBO (2020) for students and staff, followed by a time for discussion.
LIMBO is the story of four people housed on a remote island in Scotland as they await the outcome of their asylum applications. Alongside insights into awkward cultural awareness classes, the monochrome food options in the local shops, and the individual dreams of each character, this British comedy-drama addresses real-life issues from a place of compassion and understanding.
Please contact Revd Sarah Farrow to book a place: sarah.farrow@kcl.ac.uk
All King's staff and students are welcome.
This event is part of Lost and Found: Stories of sanctuary and belonging.
Lost & Found foregrounds stories of sanctuary - exploring themes of refuge, resilience, and the search for safety in a world facing significant social, political, and environmental challenges.
This eclectic programme of art, film, ideas and discussions reflects King’s status as a University of Sanctuary. It has been inspired and informed by King’s life-changing research and co-created with artists and communities from across London and beyond.
