For Baby’s Sake: Evaluating a whole-family perinatal intervention to break the cycle of domestic abuse

How can we intervene in families to break intergenerational cycles of domestic violence and provide a better start in life for infants? This talk will provide an overview of the evaluation of a novel, whole-family intervention delivered from pregnancy to two years, which aims to reduce domestic violence, improve parental mental health, and enhance parent-infant bonding. As well as a description of the intervention, we will discuss the complexities in evaluating such a programme and provide some of the early findings from the pilot sites.

Speakers: Dr Kylee Trevillion and Dr Jill Domoney

Non KCL staff/students will need to contact anjuli.1.kaul@kcl.ac.uk to register.
