Join Professor Elena Simperl at this event where she will deep dive into the work of an MLCommons working group which has recently launched a machine-readable standard for AI dataset documentation to make data easily discoverable and usable across tools and platforms. Elena co-chairs the Croissant Working Group which has the mission to standardize how ML datasets are described to make them easily discoverable and usable across tools and platforms.

There will be lunch and networking from 12pm until 12.30pm before the talk which will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

MLCommons is a not-for-profit organisation that fosters responsible innovation in machine learning and AI. It brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry from over 125 organisations worldwide. Volunteers participate in working groups that develop high-quality benchmarks and evaluation approaches; curate datasets that are critically missing in the ecosystem; consolidate best practices and guidance across the AI development and deployment lice cycle; and share knowledge, resources, and expertise.
